K's Kale Chip recipe!

This is my FIRST Blog post! How exciting! I know for me more than you, but still...I've been wanting to get to this for a long time now! And I'm finally doing it:)
Please be sure to check back for more blog posts in the future!

Kale Chips
These are made weekly in our house. And I make A LOT at a time because they go fast! My oldest and I NEED to watch how much we have so they can last the week ;)
They take me a while to make...but they are soooo worth it. Trust me!

Step 1: Pick up 3 containers of baby kale at your local grocery store.
Step 2: Grab a big bowl at home. Like, really big.

Step 3: This is just a preference, you can skip this step if you'd like (it would save you some time). I don't like the "stems" at the end of each kale piece. So, i pick each and every one off. Yup. Call me crazy! But to find MY perfect Kale chip, this is what I do. See the big bowl of kale and in the containers - the "stems"!

Step 4: Lay aluminum foil on baking sheets, spray with your choice of spray, lay out kale and season as you'd like. In this photo, the left tray is seasoned with old bay (our favorite) and the right, I sprinkled some cheese on it (idea gotten from a friend).

Step 5: Cook at 250degrees for 20 minutes. *Again, this is what works for ME. You can raise the temp and lower the time, but I don't like playing with what I know works. I like my kale chips crispy, and this temp and time gets them that way. If you find a different, faster temp and time that gets them crispy, let me know!

Step 6: Take out of oven and let cool.

Step 7: Use your GREEN container from the 21 day fix for just the right portion size :) Enjoy!

I normally store the chips in an air tight container on my counter. I found they lose their "crisp" if put in the fridge.

I would LOVE to hear what you think about it after you try it! Please come back and comment to let me know! And please share with your friends and family :)
